A reissued SS-SD officer´s ring. The original ring was awarded in 1934-35 but was revoked upon his expulsion
from the SS due to alcohol at the end of 1935. The ring was reissued to him in 1938. Adolf Will was an officer who initially served
as a "Führer zur besonderen Verwendung" (officer for special duties) and later as adjutant to SS-Gruppenführer Karl von Eberstein.
Upon his return to the SS in 1937, he was reinstated with his original rank and assigned to the SD headquarters.
At the end of 1944, he was sent to Steinbach Castle, which at that time served as a secred branch of the NSDAP Parteikanzlei in Münich.
Martin Borman also had his office here. The castle was destroyed by SS units in April 1945, along with the NSDAP archive that had been stored there...
Ring comes with Martin Toman´s COA + NARA SS folder.
